MAP
A map is a diagrammatic representation that depicts the geographical details, boundaries, roads, rivers, public institutions, and natural features of an area. Maps are essential tools for planning the development activities of a Grama Panchayat and for the efficient utilization of land resources. A Grama Panchayat map includes information such as ward boundaries, major roads, water bodies, agricultural lands, schools, hospitals, and government offices. It helps in clearly understanding the Panchayat's geographical layout and human settlements. Maps play a crucial role in areas such as the implementation of development projects, disaster management, road construction, drinking water schemes, and environmental conservation. They serve as a foundational document for assessing the Panchayat's physical resources and development potential.
