Annual Budget of the Village Panchayat

The financial plan prepared in advance, estimating the income and expenses of a village panchayat for a financial year, is called the annual budget. The budget shows how much money should be spent on the panchayat's development activities, public services, welfare schemes, basic infrastructure development, and how the required income will be collected.

The annual budget includes revenue from taxes, government grants, license fees, and financial assistance from various schemes.
